The relatively frenzied activity continues, compared to my previously sluggish social calendar.
It seems like its been a year, like an hour.
The juxtaposition just gets stranger as time goes on, and new milestones in our lives are reached.
Its been one week.
I’m sure, ten years from now, we’ll go “Its been ten years since he left”.
And we’ll all pause for that moment.
Relive it again, for the thousandth time.
Briefly, the thousand yard stare comes into view,
while your eyes drift out of focus.
But then you’ll snap to,
go about your daily business.
Just another moment in the sea of time,
The unending March of Progress.
